He possesses the powers of the Gomu Gomu no Mi Devil Fruit (sometimes called Gum Gum Fruit in English translations), which makes his entire body stretchable in limitless ways.
Hito Hito No Mi, Model: Nika is a mythical zoan devil fruit which is currently possessed by Monkey D Luffy. It enables the user to use the powers of Sun God Nika and it gives the user a rubber-like body.
Its powers are limited only by its user's imagination. It can make everything they touch become rubbery or very elastic. It can also produce any element like lighting, fire, or ice if the user wants to. It can also make the user bigger or smaller.
