character reference (novelai)

An image that uses NovelAI's Character Reference feature (colloquially known as CR). While Vibe Transfer is mainly used for stylizing, CR is used for character design consistency.

This feature entered Preview Release on 2025-09-11. Currently, CR cannot be used while using Vibe Transfer or inpainting/img2img, can only use one reference (an image) per image, and does not work as well with multiple characters.
