Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (EN: Redo of Healer) is a light novel series written by Tsukiyo Rui (月夜涙) and illustrated by Shiokonbu that has been published since 2017. A TV anime adaptation was produced by TNK and aired in 2021.
The series (especially anime adaptation) became controversial due to amount of sexual content featured and a plot which revolves around rape and torture.
Althought widely panned by critics and aboard viewership for poor story and theme, the anime's release topped the chart of Japanese anime viewership in early 2021, and the first episode of anime (illegally) uploaded to China's Bilibili received over 1 million views in 24 hours. The anime was banned from mainstream network in Japan after episode 3, and China after the first episode.
