zaku ii s char custom

A legendary mobile suit from the Gundam universe. It first appeared in the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime TV series from 1979.

It is the custom Zaku II Commander Type piloted by Char Aznable.

Painted in its pilot's personal red color scheme, its substantially increased performance (said to be "three times as fast" as a regular Zaku II, as a result of multiple limiters in the machine being disabled) garnered Char the epithet of "Zeon's Red Comet".
