Waldstein (ワレンシュタイン) is a character who appears in Under Night In-Birth. An old man with relation to both the Night Blade and Licht Kreis. He accompanies Linne in her search for a means to end her life. Originally a part of Licht Kreis; Waldstein crossed Kuon on the battlefield, after absorbing several amounts of EXS (Exist), Waldstein began to mutate into a Void. Kuon fortunately drives most of the EXS out of his body. Waldstein, thankful for Kuon saving his life; is now in debt to him and accompanies Kuon's sister, Linne, as part of Kuon's final request.
