unicorn gundam banshee

Counterpart to the Unicorn Gundam, designed with the motif of a lion instead of a unicorn. Built to the same specifications of the Unicorn Gundam, save the difference in color palette and v-fin ornamentation in NT-D mode. The Banshee is superior to the Unicorn Gundam in atmospheric combat, but lacks the La+ program plot device.

In the novel, it has been equipped with a Beam Magnum and the shield similar to the Unicorn's. However, in the OVA, it has been given an Armed Armor BS and Armed Armor VN instead of the former armaments. Later on, it is upgraded into Unicorn Banshee Gundam Gundam Banshee Norn, which are equipped with Armed Armor DE and Armed Armor XC, replacing the Armed Armors BS and VN. The Banshee Norn's Beam Magnum has a new attachment called the Revolving Launcher.
