type 00 takemikazuchi

Mecha from Muv-Luv Alternative. The Takemikazuchi is a 3rd generation tactical surface fighter utilized by the Empire of Japan and exclusively piloted by members of the Shogunate and the Imperial Royal Guard.

Four main variants of the unit exist in the series:

  • Type-00R: Usually blue or purple, features a set of eyes. The purple version is heavily featured in the series' promotional material.
  • Type-00F: Usually red or yellow, features an assault visor. Piloted by Tsukuyomi Mana in Alternative and Takamura Yui in Total Eclipse.
  • Type-00A: Painted in white, otherwise visibly identical to the 00F.
  • Type-00C: Painted in grey and a featuring a simplified head unit. Used by Imperial Guard pilots from commoner families.
