The young female counterpart to Superman usually having the same powers as he does. There are many variations of her but the most famous is her being Kara Zor-El. She came from Argo City, which survived the destruction of her home planet Krypton but soon came to its own destruction. As Superman (Kal-El) is the last son of Krypton, then Supergirl, his cousin, is the last daughter of Krypton, with both coming from the same family house of El. She wears a female version of Superman's costume that usually gives her a skirt among other feminine alterations depending on her variation.
