A swordsman who appears in all three games of the Arland Atelier series: Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, and Atelier Meruru. He goes by the nickname Sterk since he knows his actual name is hard to pronounce. Sterk is a knight at heart and isn't pleased when the monarchy system is abolished to create the Arland Republic. Sterk is also known for scaring others with his appearance which often upsets him, and keeps white pigeons as pets/messengers.

In Atelier Rorona, he works as a castle guard and is the receptionist for Rorona's assignments. In Atelier Totori, the knighthood is dissolved and he works as a wandering adventurer, whom Gino fervently demands to take him in as his pupil. In Atelier Meruru, Sterk is more than eager to serve Princess Meruru to the point that it interferes with her work.
