shibafu (glock23) (style)

This tag is used for art drawn in the style of shibafu (glock23). He is infamous among Kantai Collection fans for using a very similar face for all of the shipgirls drawn by him, such as Akagi, Kasuga Maru, Ooi, and Fubuki. This style involves a squarish face with round cheeks, tareme eyes (typically; Kaga is a notable exception), and a small nose and mouth. For extra effect, the same shading techniques used by Shibafu can be used. The shape of the faces is often compared to a potato, hence the nicknames.

A common gag is the Shibafu Village, where characters drawn by Shibafu grow potatoes, which are sometimes depicted as having the power to change one's drawing style into Shibafu's, face and all.
