シャドウ・ザ・ヘッジホッグ シャドウ シャドマリ ShadowTheHedgehog
One of Sonic the Hedgehog's rivals who first appears in Sonic Adventure 2. Also known as "The Ultimate Life Form". He is a black hedgehog who was created by Gerald Robotnik 50 years prior and befriends Maria Robotnik.
Shadow has a distant, at times borderline edgy personality due to his past, but has gained independence from it and will not tolerate wrongdoings against those he cares for. He wears hover shoes which help grant him the same level of speed as his rival Sonic, and has an immensely high rate of power increase when dispersing the inhibitor rings on both wrists and ankles.
His depiction in the self-titled spin-off which has him wielding an actual firearms has solidified him as the archetypical "edgy" character within the series and outside of the community.
He is voiced by Yusa Kōji in the Japanese version, and David Humphrey, Jason Griffith, and Kirk Thornton in English titles.
