Graphics card pertaining to the generation of the the Radeon 7000 series (formerly known as the Radeon R100 series or Rage 6 series).
The card was described as being the Radeon 256 in the months leading up to its launch to draw comparisons with the competing GeForce 256, although the moniker was dropped with the launch of the final product.
