oobari masami

Masami Ōbari (大張正己, Ōbari Masami), born in the Hiroshima Prefecture on January 24, 1966, is an anime character designer and director for Studio G-1 NEO. Most known for the Sunrise Stance, oft-reused elaborate transformation sequences, heroic builds for mecha (to the point where copying his style is known as giving one an "Obari workout"), and impressively detailed animations at key moments (fans call this going "OBARI AS FUCK").
