Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a 2008 stealth action video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami for the PlayStation 3 game console.

It is the sixth Metal Gear title directed by Kojima Hideo.

The game is set five years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty and continues the adventures and battles of Solid Snake.
