Lady Maria is a renowned Huntress who comes from Cainhurst, and is related to Queen Annalise of the Vilebloods. She was trained under the tutelage of Gehrman.
Despite being of Cainhurst descent, she refused to use either blood magic or the Chikage; Instead, her trick weapon of choice is the Rakuyo, a Two-edged sword which can be separated.
She has an extreme resemblance to The Plain Doll. This is because Gehrman, who had a secret infatuation with Maria whilst training her, modeled the Doll after her.
After being trapped within the Hunter's Nightmare, she sought to defend the Fishing Hamlet that was ravaged by Byrgenweth from anyone aiming to get into it. As such, she serves as the penultimate plot-mandated boss of the DLC.
