Yutaka Izubuchi (出渕 裕) is a mecha and character designer for a dizzying array of anime. He has had a brief stint as a director, creating and directing the Rahxephon anime, and co-directing Yamato 2199. Longtime friend and coworker of Hideaki Anno.
