A popular line of diecast toy cars and other vehicles by Mattel, featuring both fantasy vehicles and licensed real world vehicles. Hot Wheels are not made to scale, though they are roughly equivalent to the size of a 1/64 model. The line has inspired various video games, animated movies, and TV cartoon series.
Hot Wheels has collaborated with numerous popular copyrights including Fast & Furious, Need for Speed, Forza, Gran Turismo, Halo, Star Wars, Barbie, Marvel, DC Comics and Disney, as well as some real world motorsports series. The collaborations vary in form, including recreations of fictional or custom cars, existing models featuring themed graphics, and original fantasy cars designed as vehicalizations of characters from those copyrights.
