Protagonist of After War Gundam X. Garrod is an "everyman" (read as: mercenary), casually doing tasks he's assigned with to survive. However, his life is permanently altered once he takes up the mission to locate a particular girl named Tiffa Adill and stumbles into the cockpit of the all-powerful Gundam X. He later on pilots the Gundam X Divider (remodeled version of his Gundam X unit after it got heavily damaged) and the Gundam Double X (Gundam X' direct successor).
