fusuma

襖 ふすま

Fusuma is a type of sliding panel in traditional Japanese architecture. Unlike shouji, they are fully opaque and do not have a visible wooden lattice. They usually have a circular handle, and can be either plain or decorated with traditional Japanese imagery and patterns.
