A video game/visual novel published in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable by Spike. The game has often been described as a mix between Ace Attorney and Battle Royale.

A sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, was published in 2012.

Received an anime adaptation in 2013.
