The infamous policy enacted by Mao Zedong during his reign over China during 1960s. In an attempt to "standardize" the Chinese culture to meets the party's agenda, several artifacts, temples, and monuments from ancient eras were either seized by the government or destroyed and causing severe damage to the Chinese culture.
