剪纸 窗花

A traditional Chinese folk art dating back to when paper was developed. Because the cut-outs are often used to decorate doors and windows, they are sometimes referred to as "window flowers". Paper cutouts may be done with any color, but red ones are especially used to celebrate festivals like the Chinese New Year, and remains to be a popular New Year activities in the modern days.
