A subseries of Transformers focused around Transformers that have animals as their alternate forms rather than vehicles. The entries in this series follow the conflicts between Maximals and Predacons.

New versions of Beast Wars characters would later appear in other Transformers shows and toylines including Animated, the IDW comics, and the War for Cybertron Trilogy. These versions of the characters should not be tagged with Beast Wars unless the image is directly referencing the subseries.
