albacore (azur lane)
Azur Lane's personification of the US Navy submarine USS Albacore (SS-218). Character design by Kani Biimu, voiced by Tanezaki Atsumi.
Appearance and history
In-game, she is portrayed with long blonde hair and aqua eyes, and wearing a black bikini as her default uniform. She also wears red wristbands and keeps a 20 mm Oerlikon anti-air gun on her right armlet. Her 76 mm single mount is holstered on the side of the bikini itself.
Historically the submarine responsible for sinking Taihou in the battle of the Philippine Sea, which explains why the latter is fearful of her in the game voice lines (and the Slow Ahead spinoff).
