Before magane4989's tweet, this sweater was shared by Japanese cosplayer Noraneko (のらねこ) under the term スケベニット (Perverted Knit) with this tweet in June 2016. The corresponding tag on pixiv only received about 30 uploads prior to its boom in popularity when magane4989 named it thus.
