The main character of Love Hina, Keitaro Urashima is a two-time ronin having failed the college entrance examinations twice. When his grandmother leaves the country to see the world, she leaves to him the Hinata Lodge, a getaway resort tured all-girl's dormitory. Unfortunately, this does not bode well with the residents already living there, as they are a ruthless, abusive, and sometimes weird bunch.
