時津風 ("Timely Wind")
Tokitsukaze is the tenth ship of the Kagerou-class destroyers in Kantai Collection.
Character design by Shizuma Yoshinori, voiced by Fujita Saki.
Appearance
She has brown eyes and short black hair with long sidelocks. Her shirt (which resembles Yukikaze's) is tied off into a knot on her left hip, and she wears a small smokestack-like hat cocked to the left (much like Amatsukaze). She also wears black lowleg pantyhose with a side seam, and white side-tie panties underneath. Her shoes are red rudder heels, like those worn by Shimakaze, Yukikaze, and others.
Tokitsukaze's official art (post #1759728) deliberately gives her a somewhat dog-like appearance (much like Yuudachi, Ashigara, and sometimes Shigure). Specifically, the hair towards the back of her head ends in streaks of light grey that cause it to resemble large, fluffy dog ears, and the tied-off corner of her shirt is placed and angled in such a way as to resemble a dog's tail. These features, along with some of her behaviors and lines, often inspire artists to portray her as a dog.
Personality
A trait shared with Yukikaze is the way she refers to the admiral, as "Shiree" ("しれえ～"). However, they differ in the way they talk. Yukikaze tends to yell while Tokitsukaze has a sing-songy voice.
Note: Some artists draw her with very high stockings instead of lowleg pantyhose, and many more completely skip the side seam (as well as other details) altogether. Therefore, please ensure when tagging that you tag what is drawn in the image instead of what it should contain.
