Twelfth game in the Touhou series, tenth in the mainstream lineup, and seventh in the Windows generation, as well as the fifth mainstream game in the same generation.
One autumn, a mysterious stranger approaches the Hakurei Shrine and orders it closed to make way for the Moriya Shrine atop Youkai Mountain. A displeased Hakurei Reimu and a bored Kirisame Marisa decide to enter Youkai Mountain - a place forbidden to humans - to confront the new goddess atop the mountain.
