A character from Sonic Prime. He is an anthropomorphic echidna who is the Boscage Maze counterpart of Knuckles the Echidna from the main Sonic universe. He is part of a group called the Scavengers who protect the forest.

Gnarly is characterized by his extreme paranoia and suspicion of everything around him. He wears a hat made of leaves held together by rope, and his gloves have plant thorns instead of the typical spikes found on the original Knuckles' gloves. He fights using a spear that he can throw with great precision.
