In her default appearance she has long, black hair with a pair of standing dog ears (or fox ears) on top of her head, contrasting her sister Takao's folded down ears, and large breasts. She wears a white military uniform with a miniskirt and blackthighhighs. Atago bears a passionate and caring personality, considering herself to be the "big sister" of the fleet, while expressing affection towards the Commander.
