A playable character in Genshin Impact. She made her first physical appearance in the 2.0 Special Program and became playable at Version 2.1.
Real name: Raiden Ei (also known as Beelzebul). The Eternal Raiden Shogun and the Electro Archon who governs the nation of Inazuma. Notable for her peculiar sword drawing technique, in which she manifests a sword from her cleavage.
She and her twin sister, Baal (also known as "Raiden Makoto") together won the Archon War thousands of years ago. Her twin sister became the original Electro Archon of Inazuma, with Beelzebul serving as her kagemusha. When Baal died 500 years ago during the Cataclysm, Beelzebul became the next Electro Archon and thus assumed leadership of the Shogunate.
Raiden Shogun comes in two forms: the titular Raiden Shogun and the true Electro Archon Raiden Ei. The former governs Inazuma, but is merely a puppet of the latter. In Act II of her Story Quest, the puppet becomes her kagemusha.
She is loosely based on Raiden Mei from the Honkai series, another game made by miHoYo, and shares Chinese (Juhuahua) and Japanese (Sawashiro Miyuki) voice actresses.
