Dame Rithoro Naira's daughters came to age while she was plying her trade in Eurasia; three of them followed her trade into the military, intending to become knights. But in a culture where heavy weight was placed on name, amid their training they were pressed into service in the Imperial Capital's general staff, alongside the daughters and sons of the other military families and clans with a tight hold on the professional military; investment in the state or hostages of the central government? Among them were included the Nicoðima, their kin the Aððeta , and the Ota children, who arrived after the disbanding of the Southern Army Central Group but prior to their deployments.
