July 21st is Tenkai-chan's birthday! This year is her first anniversary with us.
"Oh yeah let's just gen a frillback pigeon I bet Gemini will make that whole process considerably easie-" This is my birthday gift for her, I gave her a familiar! There were talks of her having one a long time ago, and while a white crow idea was suggested and would've been a lot more plausible in canon, a frillback pigeon was also suggested, and that idea never quite left my mind, the curls matching her hair and also the headcanon that pigeons are the economical, lower-caste alternative for tengu who are SO DIRT POOR they cannot even afford a crow just lived in my head rent free ever since. Honestly wish it hadn't!
